FYI, Cardcaptor Jim
The creaters of the character were JOE SIMON and the late great Jack Kirby. However, it wasn't too long before young Stan The Man started writing some text stories in the book. Still, you wouldn't know it by this serial, as there's no super-soldier here. First Marvel movie and typical of the later ones: making the screen character almost with nothing in common with it's comic book counterpart.

LOL
so much wrong with this...the biggest being the portrayal of Captain America. there is nothing at all "larger than life" about this guy, its simply someone in a weird outfit. either they were going for the "everyday joe" kind of feel for him or they failed miserably to make him a "super hero". they absolutely changed Cap, i mean he didnt even have his famous shield for crying out loud. this is exactly why hollywood should NEVER EVER get ahold of a comic book character...they always feel the story that CREATED THE FAN BASE of the character is not good enough to make a movie with. now i will just sit back with my tin foil hat and wait for some bush basher to blame bush for that collapsing building at the end of the show lol. all that being said: i want more of this series lol

Not What Stan Lee And Jack Kirby Intended
In this serial, Captain America's secret identity is a D.A. named Grant Gardner, not a soldier named Steve Rogers. Captain America uses a gun and kills people and throws them out of windows of 60 story buildings! Comic book fans will cringe while watching this crud. Mildly entertaing, but for the wrong reasons.
